ROD: Radio Ranch 6a – 9a
Rod Willis is a 20 year radio veteran. For the past 5 years, he has been co-hosting the Radio Ranch on WDGG.
Rod started on the radio in 1980 at WCAK in Catlettsburg, KY when Hal Murphy owned the place. After a year, Rod moved to afternoons at WIRO in Ironton, Ohio, his hometown. Rod went on to work for WQBE in Charleston, WV and Power 94.5 in Lexington, KY. It should be noted that Rod has been fired by more than half of the radio stations he has worked for.
Rod now enjoys getting up at the crack of dawn and entertaining millions of early morning commuters in the tri-state.
Something you may not know about Rod is that he loves to fly airplanes. He has logged more than 100 hours of flight.
