"I came into the world short, squatty and balding...and I guess not much else has changed since!
I was born in Louisville, KY and decided at the ripe'ol age of 10 that if I couldn't be a star running back for the Cleveland Browns (I loved Jim Brown and Leroy Kelly), then playing disc jockey might be the thing for me.
I was a Hilltopper at WesternKentuckyUniversity when I got my first gig and have worked through Bowling Green, KY to Louisville, KY to Huntington. It may not be the most impressive list you've ever seen, but if I like a place - I tend to make it long-term.
Country music was not what I envisioned when I played radio on walkie-talkies with a close'n play record player as a kid in the basement, but it's a great format to get to know REAL people, singing about REAL subjects! Most artists have been fun to meet and you listeners have been great! The Dawg is one big, extended family.
Speaking of family, my "other" includes a CrawWife, two CrawKids, two Dawgs (can't really call them "craw" or you might confuse me for one of them), a CrawCat, a CrawCar that's old enough to be classified as an antique and....well, I think you get the picture.
During my free time I love most sports (although I watch a lot more today than participate). I love following horses (and I don't mean with a pooper scooper!). I love the recreational opportunities that West Virginia and the Tri-State offer too! Give me the outdoors and sunshine any day!!!
If you've actually taken the time to really read this, thank you! More importantly, thanks for listening!! I am truly blessed to have fun and talk with you every weekday afternoon on The Dawg or out-on-location. I'll keep doing it 'til the Good Lord decides there's something else he wants to do with a short, squatty, balding CrawDawg.
Until then, God bless! Thanks for being here with Country Favorites'n Fun!"
